Phase One Completed; Westminster Construction Phase 2 Announced

Phase One of the Westminster College and Seminary master plan is complete and operating. The College and Seminary are very grateful for the Lord’s provision. Our ten-acre site now has seven beautiful buildings with over 13,000 square feet providing the necessary walls and roofs for the forty-six College students and the forty-five Seminary students who have enrolled in courses during the first half of 2009. We hear daily from visitors, students and faculty, expressing gratitude for the quality of the buildings, the beauty of the setting (overlooking Lake Victoria) and the ideal study environment.

Phase 2 will include one dormitory, a public toilet, dining hall and “outdoor” African-style kitchen, landscaping and additional site work. The total square footage for Phase 2 is 7,267 and the construction cost estimate is $193,335. As in Phase 1, we look to God’s faithful provision and His timing for this next important step of new construction.
